Links on Home page redirect to sign-in page

Got a strange problem where all the links on the home page are redirecting to the sign in page . At first I thought it was problem with the bookmarks I had on the page but then I noticed that other link likes Help and meetings also take me to the sign-in page. The session is still connected.

The actual connection the realm provides is via Network Connect and the strange thing is initially (for about half a minute) things work correctly. The other thing is if I click sign out it signs me out of the page but doesn't trigger a Network Connect disconnect.

Any ideas?

Can you confirm the role option to terminate web session @ client launch is disabled?

Re: Links on Home page redirect to sign-in page

Where to I find the Terminate Web Session @ client Launch Option?

Anyway I have found a solution to the problem.

We had added the appliance name to the bypass proxy sites in our proxy pack to fix the following issue:

When logging in after Network Connect loads and connects but we don't get the home page. Logs on appliance show session disconnected due to IP address change. New IP is the address of browsing proxy. Network Connect stays connected until I do manual Sign Out using right click menu.

After adding it to the bypass proxy is when the issues with the link redirect started. I noticed that when the sign in page is displayed after clicking on the links IE now shows login page is in Intranet Zone - previously was in Internet Zone. This is due to an IE setting on the Intranet security zone called "include all sites that bypass proxy server" (the proxy pac isn't applied externally). Unchecking this fixes the issue but for us wasn't acceptable as it screwed up other sites. I then tried adding the appliance to the trusted sites and that fixed the issue. I guess it could be the switch of zones the causes the issue rather than the zone itself.

thank you for the update and information on what was needed in your environment.

The option is at Users>User Roles>roleName>General>Session Options
