MAG 4610 Interal interface stays down

Hi,

I took out our 2 gateways from our DCs and wanted to use them for a new project. We performed a factory reset on the 2 boxes and are now unable to get the internal interface to work.

We tried 3 different versions: 4.1R1, 7.1R1 and 8.2.

I boot each member as stand alone but the Internal NIC stays down:

Internal NIC: ...................................................................................................................[Down code=0x1]

I read in the KB https://kb.pulsesecure.net/articles/Pulse_Secure_Article/kb10172/?q=0x1&l=en_US&c=Category%3ACONNECT... :

Serial console reports Down code=0x1, Down code=0x2, or no traffic flows

Down code=0x1 indicates the port was not able to establish any communication.
Down code=0x2 indicates the port was not able to establish communication with the gateway.

Check your IP settings, make sure the IP, subnet mask, and gateway are in the same subnet.
Check to make sure you do not have an IP address conflict.
Re-seat the cable associated with that port.
    Try a different cable.
Try a different port on the switch, firewall, or router.
Try a different switch, firewall, or router.

We tried to use different cables, switches, PCs and the port stays down. Any idea anyone?

Thanks and regards!

Martin

Can you try to change the link speed through the console to see if that resets the access?
if you plug in the external port and IP it as you want the internal port, does it work?
