Mask hostnames - just one aplication and not in the role

Hi,

I know we can mask hostnames and configure it in at role level. But we need to mask just a single web application and not all applications the user receive in the other roles. It is possible?

Regards,

Re: Mask hostnames - just one aplication and not in the role

For just one single application the only way I can think of is to manually mask it and use the static host file mapping on the SA/MAG gateway to point ot the IP of the application.

Have not tired this: What happens if you create a role for just this one application, perform role merge and enable mask hostanme feature for this one role?

Hi ruc,

If in one role we activate the masking, it will make for all url and not just for the urls configured in that role Smiley Sad
