McAfee SaaS Endpoint Security 5.2?

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience with this App and Host Checker? We're running esap 1.6.6 and it's not being recognized. When the end user looks at the version number, all it reports back is Scan Engine version 5400.xxxx. There's nothing that follows the nomal McAfee Antivirus version scheme.

The ESAP release notes has a list of supported applications.

If it is not there and you need try doing a JTAC case.

Just ran into the same thing here. Mcafee SAAS replaces Total Protection Service which was supported. Once OPSwatch adds it things will work again. I am sure it will be in a future ESAP. For now the user is out of luck or move to a different supported AV.

As mentioned by @haas, this will need to be added to the ESAP definition file.

To help make sure this gets done, I would recommend opening a JTAC case and provide the information requested by them in order to have this worked on/confirmed it is being looked at for adding to be supported.
