Mojave 10.14.5 and Pulse Secure 9.0.4 : Can't even add a connection

Installed 9.0.4 from scratch, no error during install.

When I try to add a connection (not even connecting), get the error message "Failed to connect to the Pulse Secure service."

How can I get PulseSecure working ?

were you able to accept the kext warning to allow the driver to load? if not, can you stop/exit Pulse and launch it again and go to System Preferences>Security & Privacy>General and see if it is up?

Nothing like that was prompted during the setup nor is there any mention of it in Security & Privacy >General :-(

Also notice that the behavior is always the same with 5.2, 5.3, 9.0r3 and 9.0r4...

that could be something related for the 5.3 and 9.0 client versions, yes; however, we do not have a kext in the 5.2 release. if you have not yet had a chance to do so, i would recommend working with our support team for further investigation so we can get our development team involved to try and determine why the driver is consistently failing to load on your system.
