Anyone see this message upon connection attempt? I have some users who see it often, but it is typically transient. When this error is seen, something like this in typically in the NetworkConnect.log -

Anybody got any ideas?
Yep. I was dealing with these errors for a while until I reduced the MTU size on my external port of my SA-4000 to 1400.
That lasted about 4 months. Now everybody who installs SP3 for WinXP is getting NC errors of various types including that one. Its especially bad after a reboot. Some have to continually re-install the components to just be able to connect via NC at all.
I can throw my hat in the ring and concur with Wyle. On large scale NetConnect deployments you will get about 5-10% of your users complaining about weird errors, disconnects, and installation and upgrade problems. It's the nature of the beast. 3 years I've spent troubleshooting. Put out a fire in one spot and another will pop up. I recently had a technician tell me NetConnect is not meant to replace your traditional IPSEC VPN. That NetConnect was bit of an afterthought as IVE was originally meant to only rewrite web pages and such. Yikes!! I would have love to have known that 3 years ago.
Yes, I'm ranting so take it with a grain of salt but I certainly think NetConnect needs to be redesigned with stability in mind.
