I have SSL VPN SA2500 v. 7.1R6 and need to upgrade it, what is the recommended version to upgrade and there is any steps can i follow to upgrade?

The recommended release is 8.0R8.1. You can refer to the admin guide for upgrade steps.

JTAC Recommended release for this product is: 8.0RX
If you're going to version 8 from 7.1 check if you need to do an inerim upgrade. I do recall with one client they had to go from 7.1 to 7.4 and then to version 8.
