NetConnect works from some ISP's fails from others

I run into this all the time.

A user cannot connect to Network Connect. The technician takes the laptop to another location and it works fine. All ISPs allow ESP and even if they didnt I should be failing over to NCP.

Our users are not doing anything weird. Dell Laptops, behind Linksys Firewalls running DSL.

Anyone else experience this ?

Yup. We've even told our users to steer clear of certain hotels. I don't know what they are doing, but somehow their equipment is able to circumvent the DNS search order so that it will always search the hotel's ISP first (perhaps to make sure the users gets to their room number/credit card input page), thus, none of our internal resources resolve (I have our NC policy configured to split tunnel and search our DNS servers first). In some cases, we've worked around this by configuring the DNS search order in the client's TCP/IP properties. My hunch is that it is more prevalent with satellite service providers. If someone has cracked this, please share, because it is driving me nuts.

Have you done a packet trace from the laptop to see what is happening?

This may not help, but I have found enabling Roaming Sessions in Role Session Options made NC work on several AirCard situations where IP addresses seem to change.
