Network Connect Client Auto Updates

I have a situation that I hope to find an answer to:

We are currently running 6.4R3.1 on our SA6000. Our corporate supplied laptops are 64 bit machines running Win7.

We use the Installer Service to provide the admin rights for Juniper functions as our corporate laptop Admin rights are restricted.

We have provided the 64 BitÓ 6.4R3.1 NC client (which I understand is actually an extended 32 Bit client) as part of the standard image we use for these Win7 machines.

Now Ð we are updating our SA6000s to 7.0R4 to support iPads, etc. And here is my question:

What version of the Network Connect client (the 32 bit or 64-bit) will auto update/install on our 64 Bit Win7 machines running the 64-bit 6.4rR.1 NC client once they log into our SA6000s (now running 7.0r4) for the first time?

I know that older versions of the SA OS provides only the 32 - it client

The Network Connect client is a 64-bit compatible, 32-bit client and the 7.0-based client will be installed on the end-user PC when they login.

Thanks for responding. But I don't think I may have been clear enough.

Lets say I'm running the 6.5R3.1 64 bit NC client which I got from the IVE and installed locally, and then we update our IVE to 7.0R4.

Then - We log into the IVE using my local 6.5R3.1 64 bit client - I know that the new 7.0R4 NC client installs. I'm good with this so far.

The question is - is it the 7.0R4 64 bit client or the 7.0R4 32 bit client that my PC is updated with?

There are a few things that confuse me - I can not find any NC Client info that tell me if we are connected with a 32 or 64 bit client.

OK - So maybe that means that there is only one NC client then for both 32 bit and 64 bit users....

However, if you look at the 7.0R4 IVE Installer Page you will find both a 32 bit and a 64 bit client to down load. And you will find that these happen to be different sizes....... Is this Juniper Smoke and Mirrors? IS THERE only a single client? Are all client updates from the IVE happen to be 32 bit NC clients?

Thank you for the verification. It's one client (the x64 version runs in 32-bit compatibility mode).

The two installers are due to installation differences between the 2 platforms that require different installers for the client.
