Network Connect Client / HotSpot

Hi,
we have a customer, who want use the network connect client as standard vpn client for the notebook users. the local notebook firewall policy allows only access to the internet for the network connect client - not for any browser.
if the user is connectet to a hotspot network - is there a posibility to see the hotspot login page at the network connect client page?
thx for help

Re: Network Connect Client / HotSpot

No. You need to login to the company to get Internet access and you cannot login because you cannot access the HotSpot. Chicken and egg.
You need to change the policy and/or enable split-tunneling.

Re: Network Connect Client / HotSpot

For me, the NC Client looks like just using the MSIE "libs" for displaying the webpage and thus the startpage.

As far as I know these hostpotsthings, if you are connected to one and do a webrequest, the webproxy in behind redirects you to either its loginpage or the webpage you requested.
So for my understanding, the loginpage should end up in the hotspot's loginpage.
