I am having an intermittent, but very annoying issue. Sometimes my users log in and establish a connection using network connect. They can access Outlook, our document management system, network resources, but they cannot map a network drive. A reboot typically resolves the issue, but the laptop established the initial connection from a fresh boot up.
It is driving my users crazy since it sometimes works fine for weeks and then out of no where comes back. I know DNS is working and WINs also seems to be OK. They can access other resources so I know they are on the network, but no mapped drives.
Anyone else seen this?
Is this OS specific?
Do you see this on any specific image only?
Do you have any specific NC deployment? - such as any scripts on logon / logoff?
Are you using GINA?
