Network Connect drops Sprint v740 aircard connection

I have a user that launches Network Connect over his Sprint v740 aircard. Network Connect will run for about 5 seconds then the Sprint aircard connection will be dropped and NC will go into a re-connecting state. You can restart the aircard and NC will connect for about 5 seconds and then the aircard will be dropped again.

Without NC the aircard will remain connected and the user can surf the public internet without issue.

Any ideas?

It sounds like maybe compression/proxying could be interferring with the SSL.

Any chance this is occurring because the traffic supposed to go to the proxy gets encrypted by NC? If the communications between aircard and proxy is IP, this might be occurring unless you allowed split tunneling.

Solution found _ Sprint tech gave the following solution: In Smartview, go to the Tools->Settings Menu and look for Rules EngineÓ. If you donÕt see that tab, close the app and reopen it again as many times as necessary. In that tab, uncheck the first box Use Rules EngineÓ. Now you can start the CDMA card and then start the VPN and it is stable.
