Network Diagram

So I've been looking for some sort of instructions on how/where my MAG2600s should be in my network.  I.e. how the network part of the install should be designed.

I'm replacing a set of SA2000s that were installed a long time ago and none of the original installer people are still around.  I've figured out how they did it, but I'd like to see how it "should be" or what the best practices are.

if there's a tech doc already, please link.

thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Network Diagram

There are a number of options available that depend on your current network topology and dmz design.  Your first decision is whether to use one arm or two arm installation for the two ehternet interfaces.  And then you determine where those interfaces are located in your network.

There is a nice discussion in kb10162 outlining the typical options.
