We are running 7.2 R1.1 and are migrating to VMware View (5.1) next week. We upgraded from SA to MAG last year to be prepared to disclose our desktops for teleworkers.
Now, to our surprise, VMware View 5 is still not supported by Juniper. This is shown in KB23497. Also the MAG does not show any sign of being able to do PCoIP in any way.
It is not an option to us to have people use (A)a MAG login and (b) a Network Connect client and (c) a VMware View client to be able to work remotely. We would expect a link to connect to the desktop after being logged in to the MAG, which uses the PCoIP protocol, so things like ThinPrint are available as well.
When is View 5 with PCoIP planned to be included?
that is something you will need to work with your account team.
pulse or network connect is required for PCoIP
Any news on vmware view 5 support, is it supported yet.
Cheers
Graham
ok thanks, just noticed that Vmware view 5.1 now supports Multiple Two-factor authentication with Radius so we may just stop using the juniper vpn and access them directly through vmware view secure gateway.
When is Juniper planning to support view v5. This is in the works at my company and I need to know if Juniper is an option or if I need to just drop it. Seems like Juniper is never in a rush to support new products and slows us down for remote access technology.
Looks like this is in 7.3
I dont think it is in 7.3, I cant see any mention in 7.3 release notes and I logged a support call and they said they dont support Vmware View 5 yet? Hope im wrong but..
Any news on Vmware View 5 support?
