Good day,
Our clients using Norton INternet security 2010 cannot login to SSL VPN - Since it is not supported i wanted to create a Rule for the Process is uses to run so that they can log in until Juniper sees fit to include the latest AV's in there updates.
Does anyone know the name or names of the process (s) is uses to run?
I think this is due to marketing name change by Norton/Symantec.
NIS 2010 is now bundled under Norton Antivirus 17.x, so you will need to use that for your predefined check for the time being.
Juniper is working to make this more clear on our management UI.
Not to sound like a bonehead but .. how would i define that in the hostchecker config? What i currently did was add a rule to the hostchecker to check for the ccsvchst.exe process and allow the connection. it seems to be working
When creating a new HC policy, choose "Predefined: Antivirus" Then click "Add".
Next, click "Require specific products". Find the AV you are looking for, then save your changes.
I see.. i was to understand that there is currently no support for norton 2010 (ver 17.x), so maybe it will work anyways.. i will test this and post it here.
