Hi, I have 2 questions on being able to run SSL VPN of Juniper with OSX:
a) First, Juniper recommends we use Pulse instead of Network Connect. Does this require the SSL admin to create a Pulse profile for my user name? Our current VPN is configured to launch Network Connect - If I try and use that https URL with pulse, it does not connect. Is there any way a regular user can use Pulse instead of Network connect without the admin getting involved?
b) I understand Juniper needs Java. In OSX, there are two versions of Java - i) The one that Apple provides for OSX (v6)
ii) The one that Oracle provides from their site (v8.x). So far I've been running Mavericks and I've observed that I need to install both to get things working - is that correct?
