One of our users is trying to connect to his PC using terminal services from his Mac laptop.
If he uses the launch button entering his pc hostname then the terminal services session opens fine.
If he users the "add terminal services session " button to add it as a bookmark then he gets error message like client not supported on this platform. Any ideas?
I remember reading somewhere that the HOB RDP client for Mac only works if you configure the sessions on the IVE itself.
This would make sense as you have to do this (connection setup) under Resource Policies on the IVE which a user doesn't have access to via the ad hoc method of adding connections on their desktop.
Might be in the help or the docs for IVE as far as HOB setup goes.
ok - but then I would have to set up a separate resource profile and role for each user that was using a mac rather then just letting the user get on with it and creating there own.
in the html you can change it from 8-bit to 32-bit.
as mentioned earlier, yes, you are correct that all mac users need to have their own bookmark or use the rdp launcher.
it is not possible to turn on the applet for user-created bookmarks
