Portable Network Connect/WSAM

Hi All,

Is there any software portable for client SSL VPN such as Network Connect portable or WSAM Portable, to eliminate SA limitation if user non administrator privilege.

Cunny - I would recommend taking a look at the "Client Side Changes Guide" it does a very good job of showing you what each element of the SSL box does from an install perspective and what rights are needed. Take a look at the last chapter - "Required Rights to run and install applications"

A restricted user can install WSAM if they do it from the SA box Web page - the same is true for NC.

Along with what Kevin said, you can also push the JIS (Juniper Installer Service) to your clients. Once JIS is installed the users can install other Juniper Clients while being logged in as a regular user.

Thanks for the Reply I've read "Client Side Changes Guide" but I'm still confused about the Client/Action (ex : WSAM) column does it means We should install only on admin and then Run on Standard User?

Any manual guide or KB that related to push the JIS ((Juniper Installer Service).

Yes - your reading is correct. To install / run the code referenced in a table entry you will need to have the privilges shown - so to install WSAM ActiveX software you need Admin rights. To run - only standard user.

The JIS is also referenced and documented in the client side guide. There is also an FAQ on it:
