Preserve Client-side Proxy Settings for Network Connect

Can anyone explain to me what this means? I cannot find much in documentation. I THINK this means "use whatever proxy settings are set in IE", however, this does not seem to work for us. Version 6.5R3.1 of IVE.

Hi,
Preserve client proxy setting are keep client proxy setting of IE when NC connection established.
Basically, NC modify proxy setting for split tunneling and/or server side proxy setting ( for intranet).
Check your proxy setting on IE before and after establish NC connection.

You are correct; it means that Network Connect will not touch the proxy settings.

What OS are you using (I'm guessing Windows since you reference IE)? What behavior do you see?
