Is there a setting on the MAG Hardware/OS (running OS 8.0R2) that will prevent the Juniper Pulse Client icon from remaining in the system tray after a user signs out?
We do not want to have our Junos Pulse Client icon to remain in our clients System Tray after they are done using the client. So - they would need to launch the client from the start menu or a short cut on the desktop. Thanks
Hi GStewart,
I understand your requirement however I don't think you have an option to exit pulse without manual intervention as on today.
If you feel that this is a critical requirement for your business, then I recommend you to work with your local juniper account team & also open a case with JTAC support for your tracking purpose if needed.
Hope this helps.
Note: If I have answered your questions, you could mark this post as accepted solution, that way it could help others as well. Kudo will be a bonus thanks!

Hi,
There is no way to disable this on server side :
On client side :
1. user has to exit Pulse when they are done using the client , this will make the pulse icon dissapear from system tray
2. If you want to remove the pulse icon from system tray on windows startup, we have to do msconfig and disable the program on startup.
Thanks,
Jay
Wouldn't a "session end script" do the trick?
