@alkafri Thank you.
That means the client machine is able to connect the print server over ICMP, what would be the transport layer used for printing process?
BTW, do we have correct ACL applied on the VPN server to allow that traffic?
i think ACL is correct applied. aside from that the most users can printing normaly. the problem happens only with few users after they came back from Home-office to the normal Office.
@alkafri So, are we saying that the users cannot access Print Server after moving back to Office network? even when they're not connected to VPN?
Does the user to connect to VPN even when they're in office network?
Which of the following is true?
Home network > VPN network > through tunnel > print server (fails)
Office network > no need for VPN > through LAN access > print server (fails)
Office network > no need for VPN > through LAN access > print server (fails) is true ( after moving back to Office network).
- only few user has this problem (not all of them).
- after a full shutdown (shift key + shutdown), printing will works again.
- ending Pulse Secure in the Task manager-processes will solve also the problem.
all users using the same preconfig file "no lockdown rules".
for the users that reboot and printing succeeds, the error will happen again after few days or weeks "temporary resolved"
