Problems with Securemeeting

Hey there,

we're experiencing problems with securemeeting in Version 6.0R3.1 with WinXP-SP2 and MS Office07-SP2.

There are some Users with MS Office2007 installed on their machine. If they start an Excel-, Word-, etc.-File while having a securemeeting-window active, it loads and loads and....nothing happens. At the moment when they close the Meetingwindow, all previously clicked Officedocuments start at all together immediatly.

Any ideas? Is that fixed at a newer release?

The following bug was fixed in version 5.5 R1 Build # 11711, I would recommend an upgrade

Microsoft Office 2007 XML documents that include references to external files are not rewritten. (Bug 41422)

As I mentioned we are already on Version 6.0, so this should already be fixed. And we dont have problems with XML-Files, it appears by opening xls, doc, etc files.

Are effected users experiencing any error msg's, if so please provide the message ID.

Also I know it's a long shot but the only other known bug --> In a Japanese OS, sometimes MS office 2007 canÕt be launched inside SVW. (56316)

Hmm, no we are using german OS ;-)

Users dont get any error-messages. The securemeeting itself works fine, only while having the meeting opened, office-documents dont open for like 5 minutes. at the moment of closing the meeting, all of the documents are popping up. Securemeeting does not give any errormessages, i dont think that the log notices any troubles there, cause the meeting itself runs fine. So that must be anything in between. not every user has that problem, could not yet find out whats the difference between those machines.

This may not help but have you enabled client side logging and looked in the logs to see if there are any error messages or some othe chunk of helpful data?
