Pulse Client on Mac refused by server due to lack of anti-vir

I am trying to connect with my mac to my customer.
I installed and configured my Pulse client ver 5.2.2 (343).
I also have on my mac Symantec endpoint protection (updated, with anti-vir protection on)

When I try to connect I got error message that my computer does not have anti-vir, and server refused to accept connection.

I would greatly appreciate help...

Re: Pulse Client on Mac refused by server due to lack of anti-vir

well... they added Symantec to their policy.
now my Pulse shows error:
Reasons: Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6860.6400 does not comply with policy. Compliance requires latest virus definitions.
and my Symantec is up to date (I updated it manually to definitions from today)
any clue?

Re: Pulse Client on Mac refused by server due to lack of anti-vir

There are a couple things that could cause this:
One is that there was an issue on the Pulse Secure side with the update checking and the version checks were not happening correctly; this is resolved as of 27 May 16.
Another is that the ESAP check is not working correctly for Symantec again.

Please check with your customer on the version they are using (hopefully 2.9.3 or 2.9.4) and that they are now correctly seeing updates sent for virus definition checks.
