Pulse Host Checker Policy For Only 1 OS

Hello,

We have one user realm that all of our employees connect through. I have implemented a host checker policy in "evaluate only" mode to check for the SCCM process on Windows machines only. This is working fine, however Mac OS machines are failing the policy because there are no rules specified for Mac OS. Is there a way to bypass this in the Host Checker configuration or do I absolutely have to have a rule built out for every OS in order for them not to fail?

Thanks!

Re: Pulse Host Checker Policy For Only 1 OS

@jonathanw84 Answer would be...yes, we have to configure a rule for other OS to avoid failure events or use separate realm for other devices/OS.

in addition to what [email protected] said, do the users fail to login to the PCS entirely or do the users fail the host checker policy and have to click through to connect? if the latter, yes that is expected; if the former, you may want to have a separate role that allows access without host checker
