Pulse Secure 5.3.1161 installation error 1603

I have this issue on both W7 and W10, the log always has the following at the end.

MSI (c) (48:6C) [12:44:17:446]: Product: Pulse Secure -- Installation failed.
MSI (c) (48:6C) [12:44:17:446]: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Pulse Secure. Product Version: 5.3.1161. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Pulse Secure, LLC. Installation success or error status: 1603.
MSI (c) (48:6C) [12:44:17:446]: Grabbed execution mutex.
MSI (c) (48:6C) [12:44:17:446]: Cleaning up uninstalled install packages, if any exist
MSI (c) (48:6C) [12:44:17:446]: MainEngineThread is returning 1603

I have run as admin, used SCCM so using the System account, and used my own account which is a local admin.

I have tried this below but still nothing

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Pulse Secure 5.3.1161 installation error 1603

Is CrowdStrike something you can remove completely, reboot, test the installation again for Pulse, reboot, test the connection on the Pulse client, install CrowdStrike back on the system, reboot, and test to see if both clients still work?
Does CrowdStrike have logs that you can go through to see if it is blocking parts of the installation and/or the ability to whitelist applications so that it does not monitor them?

Do you have any Cisco products installed? McAfee or Kaspersky? If yes, can you uninstall, reboot, and try again?
Is this an initial deployment or upgrade from an older version?

Re: Pulse Secure 5.3.1161 installation error 1603

This is a new installation, no old versions present.

No McAfee, Kaspersky or Cisco products installed. The AV we use is CrowdStrike which I have tried disabling and then running the install again.

Re: Pulse Secure 5.3.1161 installation error 1603

Thank you, uninstalling CrowdStike allowed the install despite there being nothing I could see in CS saying it was blocking it. Next stop CrowdStrike to see what they say.

Thanks again for your help.
