Pulse Secure 9.0R2-819 crashes on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi,

I was trying to launch the Pulse Secure (Ver. 9.0R2-819) program on Ubuntu 18.04. It was working after a fresh install. But it refuses to start after couple of days of using. Kernel version is 4.15.0-46.

The pulseUI program crashes immediately after launching.

Re: Pulse Secure 9.0R2-819 crashes on Ubuntu 18.04

Hello @kopkop ,

I have not seen this specific issue. Is there any software that may be conflicting with Pulse? Other than this, I recommend to open a support ticket to have our engineering team look into the issue.

are you able to use a previous kernel version? this looks like some issues that have been reported elsewhere while using 18.04

Hi,

what about new Ubuntu releases?

I still experience a lot of crashes.

Re: Pulse Secure 9.0R2-819 crashes on Ubuntu 18.04

Maybe could you give me some hint in the while?

I see a lot of users with similar issues and no solutions given.

Is there a way to run it in wine? I've tried but I've got "pulse is missing a component resource catalog"

Can we do something about those libraries? Maybe downgrading to a specific one?

Can this help you? https://stackoverflow.com/a/7882929/3673430

Maybe if you could just do an internal call to help us resolve faster, we'll really appreciate it
