Pulse Secure: installation failed (with roll back)

I try to install Pulse Secure without sucess (ps-pulse-win-9.1r3.1-b1413-64bitinstaller)

 

I have the following message: "an error occurred during the installation of assembly policy 8.0 microsoft vc80 crt, type!'win32-policy", version="8.00.50727.762",publickeyToken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture!'amd64"

 

Windows 10 (family version) 64 bits

 

Can you help me?

what type of system are you using (intel, amd, arm)? does it happen with the 32-bit installer?

My System is an Intel Core I3-500U CPU @2.00Ghz

Installer 32bits is not allowed (rejected)

I have exactly the same error althouth I have a Win10 64bit enterprise (ver 1709) , on a Dell latitude e7270.

 

Have you solved in some way?

Please uninstall Antivirus and other VPN clients, if you have and retry the installation. After successful installation, you can install the Antivirus again.

I'm having exactly the same problem and error message. I cannot uninstall my other VPN client or the antivirus software for the installation because it's a work laptop and I won't be able to get these programs back from home (I'm in home office because of the current COVID-19 lockdown). I have tried closing the other VPN client (Sophos) and deactivating the antivirus software (Avira) for the time of the installation but that doesn't help. There must be a way to install the Pulse Secure VPN client....?
