Pulse disables the wifi adapter

On my machine, Pulse disables the wifi adapter (trying to enable it just returns it to disabled).

Stopping the "Pulse Secure Service" gets things back to normal (but then obviously you can't use Pulse). You have to reenable the service to use Pulse. To disable:

- In the Start search bar, type "Services" and click the Services item to open the list of services.

- Search for the service called "Pulse Secure Service"

- Right click and stop

I suppose this means, Pulse cannot be used over a Wifi connection (as Wifi is dead while pulse runs).

This is critical! Please fix it!

Pulse Secure 5.3.3 (1021)

Windows 10 Pro (v. 10.0.17134 build 17134)

Wifi adapter: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 (driver ver. 19.51.12.3)

Dell Latitude E5450

Re: Pulse disables the wifi adapter

is this only when you are connected over a wired connection?
can you please open a case with our support team for further investigation, please?

Re: Pulse disables the wifi adapter

Created an account in Support Portal, but I cannot "onboard", I don't have a serial number or support contract. I get the Pulse Secure app from a university, which is my customer.

I also tried calling the support number for my country (Switzerland), but call is rejected with message "the subscriber does not allow calls from your location".

What should I do?

Re: Pulse disables the wifi adapter

Also replying to your question:

The wifi adapter gets disabled as soon as Pulse Secure Service is running. Independently of whether the PC is connectde over wired ethernet.

Re: Pulse disables the wifi adapter

do you have jabber, kaspersky or LANDesk installed?
does this happen on all machines or just this one?
it should be possible to use Pulse on WiFi.
