Pulse secure client version 9.0.4.1731 issue

Dear suppport team,

this is Dylan from China location.

here are two issue  we are facing.

  1. There was an issue with the Pulse Client version 9.0 , it  not changing the DNS settings back after a disconnect. Hence the next connection failed, company DNS which is not changed back cannot resolved always-on FQDN.The new version 9.1.15 does not have this problem, but we still need to reset network when the new version overwrites the installation first time.

  1. pulse 9.1.15 does not automatically start when computer start, only PulseSecureService.exe starts. This way we can't change the connected RUL or disconnect pulse in the bottom right corner. We need to start pulse in the start menu.

could you please help to check the issue?

Re: Pulse secure client version 9.0.4.1731 issue

Hi @DylanHan,

1. can you expand further on this, please? if you are saying that you are installing the fixed release and you still need to restore the network settings, yes, that is correct; you should no longer see this behavior after you reset the network settings after installation
2. that is not yet something we have seen; can you open a case with our support team, please?

the older client will see the behavior, yes. it does not have fixes to correctly clean up the dns settings
