Remote app through terminal service doesn't auto launch on MAC Mountain Lion OS

We have an SA4500 with 7.3r2 code. An IE browser with a specific URL is supposed to auto lauch through a terminal service session.

This works great on Windows but not on Mac.

On Windows after users sign in on the SA, an IE windows auto launches through a RDP session.

On MAC RDP session auto launches but users have to open IE manually within the RDP session.

Anyone has seen this? Thanks.

Have you specified the application to launch in the HTML of the bookmark/session (http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/ive/guides/supplemental/PremierJavaAppletParameters.pdf)

Terminal Service Profile.jpg

The role doesn't have a web bookmark but a terminal service profile only and with Premier Java Applet license. It works ok with Windows but not Mac.

Or do you mean to tick the box "Configure HTML for the default applet"?

You will need to tick the box to configure the HTML.

I am not sure if it will allow it to go through successfully as I haven't had a chance to test it yet; I will try to do this in the next couple days.

To confirm: you want to have the RDP session launch at login and open IE on the remote system?

Re: Remote app through terminal service doesn't auto launch on MAC Mountain Lion OS

Ticked the box but still the same.

I want to have a website through an IE browser automatically popped up through RDP session after user logs into the SA.

This works fine for Windows users, where IE pops up and the RDP desktop doesn't even appear.

However, for Mac users see the RDP desktop and have to double-click on the IE icon on the desktop.

It would be nice for the Mac users to have the same experience as Windows.
