Resolving extremely slow Query Running times in Logging

This issue has been happening for at least a year now through multiple upgrades on multiple MAG devices all running Pulse Secure.. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

When an administrator goes to System>Log/Monitoring>Users

The previous filter no matter what is set for the filter runs before it loads and for 10 minutes it stays blank, with the browser tab spinning, and at the top it has

Running query ...........................................


After 10 minutes, it will load and everything including whatever previous filter was there before has been applied. I initially thought it was because of the filter but after much testing it does not matter how simple or non-existent the filter is, the load time is the same everytime.

For example, if I remove all filters it still does the same thing.

Running query .............................................................. (590 seconds)

If I set the filter to userid and show 50 items, it takes the same time at 10 minutes.

I do not want to delete or clear my logs, is there a way to trim my logs or is this the issue at all? How can I verify?

Sorry also want to add I have reduced the log size from 200 MBs to 100 MBs and the time is still the same. We are using the archiving feature and sending them to a remote server as well.
