Rewriting Flash pages that use SWFObject

Does anyone have any experience rewriting Flash pages that use the SWFObject code. As far as I can tell this is a piece of Javascript code that can be used to detect if Flash is enable for the browser and which version and then enables or disables the flash content. The problems seem to be the detection is failing when the pages are rewritten.

I know there is a chance the flash won't work anyway but it would be good to see if it will.

Hi dcvers.

The IVE does support flash up to version 7. You may run into issues if the flash file was created with a newer version.

I don't have any experice with SWFObject code, but someone else here may.

Anyone have a response to this? Or maybe how to select an older version (7 or prior) in html code?
