SA-2500 Internal port not functioning. Purchased a replacement card, but NO LUCK. HELP!

Hello:

We currently have a SA-2500 box in the network and unfortunately, it went down a few weeks ago. Turns out the internal port is not working at all. No lights at all. the external ports work 100%. We purchased a replacement card online but the same issue is occurring. This leads me to believe that the issue must be either motherboard related or something else. Has anyone ran into the same problem or can anyone help diagnose and get this issue fixed?

There are no replaceable items on the SA2500; the whole unit will need to be replaced.
Does the same behavior occur if the cable is moved from the external port to the internal? What code version are you using? We have seen a rare issue that the port labelled as internal functions as external & external as internal that has been resolved in software.

The firmware that is currently on the box is 7.4R13 Build# 32125. There is a minor possibility that there was a prior, more updated version that was reverted back to this version.

the issue should have been resolved by that release; I would recommend working with support for an RMA

Or, apologies for not remembering this in my last update, work with your account team on upgrading to the PSA3000 for newer hardware that will work on newer versions
