SA Series as Cluster with IVS is EOL - what comes next ? - MAG Series without IVS -Support ???

Hello Guys,

We use an SSL-VPN Cluster SA4000 with 20 IVS Systems,

the System is EOL and there is no more Support for new OS.

Now SA Series is EOL completly ...  what box can i take next time with IVS support ?

IVS is gone. Juniper has EOL'd that feature. For customers who required that functionality Juniper recommends that you go with the virutual platform.

I am impressed you are still up and running with that many IVS Smiley Happy

To clarify: the OS still supports IVS on the older x500 platforms; the new x600 platform has removed IVS support (and some other items that were not heavily used)

As muttbarker stated, it is recommended to use either the virtual appliance or VLAN and realm/role-based tagging for separation.

Zanyterp - you are, as always quite correct - Smiley Happy

IVS is still supported on the x500 platforms. I tend to not even mention the X500 series as they are EOL as of the end of year.

Thanks, muttbarker; you are right, as always as well.

I agree it is not worth mentioning for new acquisitions (thank you for calling that out); my only purpose was to clarify for others who come across that thread later and have one of the x500 systems or if the original poster had some in the lab that he was using.

Let's try to sum this up for continuity (if you don't mind):

IVS: supported on x000 systems
IVS: supported on x500 systems
IVS: NOT supported on MAG/x600 systems

x000 systems: EOL; can only run up to 7.1
x500 systems: EOL at the end of 2013; run 6.1+
MAG/x600 systems: current with no EOL announced yet; run 7.1+
