SA device monitoring?

Is there a way to monitor performance on the SA4000?
Nagios, SNMP, etc?
Has anyone done this before?

Re: SA device monitoring?

Hi Steven,

It supports the UCD core, which I think is built into Cacti if memory serves.

but what do you mean by "performance"?

Thanks,
I was also able find this nice reference as well:
By performance, I really meant statistics.

Re: SA device monitoring?

i monitor the boxes with SNMP-checks over nagios. i think its about 8 different checks, if you need any further help, just ask.

what do you guys monitor via SNMP? i check for disk, cpu, users logged in, log-full & swap full + traps. any other good ideas and examples what to monitor?

Re: SA device monitoring?

For those that monitor memory this may help. Note that the KB is for customers who see frequent false positives for memory traps.
