SA2500 Host Checker planning/configuration help

I am new at SA-2500.

Currently, we use certificate to validate if the remote systems have the needed certificate on the system. I would like to add Host Checker function to ensure it is the machines it said it is.

However, I just found out check Mac address only work in Windows OS. Would someone suggest what is the best way for me to implement on all Windows, OS X, linux platforms?

put hidden unique files in diffrent locations on your Gold images and check for them. You compare the md5. you will have to put them in diffrent locations for diffrent OS but you will be able to use the same files on all OSes
