SA2500 to MAG4610 Cluster Import

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to either import or push from a stand along SA2500 to a MAG4610 Cluster? Both are runnning 7.1R7. Tried a few different options, but nothing is taking. Not much log data to run with either. Any feedback and/or recommendations would be helpful.

It should work; what are you trying to push?

if the 4610 is fresh out of the box i beleive it ships in NAC mode and needs to be wiped and SA with license needs to be reinstalled.

Disparate hardware can lead to sync failing. In my testing, this worked for SA2500 standalone to SA6500 cluster:

• What to push: "Selected configuration"
• "Select All"
• Uncheck System SettingÓ -> "Select All System Settings"
• Uncheck Endpoint SecurityÓ -> Host CheckerÓ -> ESAPÓ
• Uncheck Maintenance SettingsÓ -> "Select All Maintenance Settings"
• Choose Targets, and Push ConfigurationÓ

Let us know how it works out, and whether you needed to uncheck anything else!

Also, be sure you are importing the user.cfg from the sa2500 as this has your config (users, realms, roles, ACLs, etc). The system.cfg has licensing, IPs, and other node-specific items and you won't (easily) see any change if you import this
