SA4000 Upgrade

Hey Guys,

Hardware renewals rolling around again this month, just wondering if it's worth dropping in something in the place of our SA4000's. I understand these are EOL now, I dropped JTAC a line to find out when these will be supported until. Have any of you upgraded these to 2500's (is this even an upgrade?) or the 4500's ?

Hi,

You should be looking to upgrade to the MAG Series, (dont panic at the "junos" name, it's just a name) the OS is exactly the same as the SA series and the licence model is a little more flexible.

The MAG 4610 should do the trick for a direct 4000/4500 appliances and offer the best future proofing for new software releases.
