SA4500 Connection state - Terminal services

How does our SA4500 know that i am still connected remotly, how does it know to drop an inactive session.

Trying to determine if having Ping disabled on users personal pc's or Firewalls is causing connection issues for my Terminal service users.  In the logs is say user disconnected is why i am going down this path.

Thanks Roxanne

Re: SA4500 Connection state - Terminal services

A user being assigned a role has a idle timeout and session timeout values configured under the role.

When there is no activity for a stipulated time IDLE timeout value licks in and based on the duration session timeout values are applied. There are no pings involved.
