SA6000 Java 7u51 Woes.

Having multiple issues with remote users on both Windows and Mac now with update 51. Currently running 7.1R11. Does 7.1R17 solve some of these issues?

7.1r17 has the fix for the java update 51.

Hi,

Java U51 has modified Security Settings, look at this:

 -  Windows Start / Windows Key

 - type "JAVA"

 - select "configure Java"

 - tab "Security"

 - set from high to medium

 - ok

retry your java access.

Java U51 enforces Signage of Java Applets when the security level isnt manually lowered (the signage is a good thing, however breaks some backward compatibility).

To avoid having users to do this, I think upgrading the SA's to 7.1R17 is worth it. As long as it resolves the issues. Will this solve Java update 51's issues?
