I have a 2 node A/P SA6500 cluster running 8.0R3 code. If I reboot either node the admin GUI via the internal NIC will not be accessible for several hours. I start a continuous ping from my desktop and it will fail the entire time. However, the active node sees the rebooted node join the cluster. I can also ping the rebooted node from the active node. If I go to cluster options and force a VIP fail over to the rebooted node my continuous ping starts going through and I can then access the admin GUI.
JTAC has already sent me a RMA saying that the bootstrap was corrupted on the node we sent logs for. Same issue.
We have a test cluster running the same hardware and code. Different VLAN for the internal NIC. Not exibiting these symptoms.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or have run into this before.
