SNMP reports VPN interfaces reporting down but they really are not.

We started getting alerts stating the ports went down and then 3 minutes later reporting back up.

The event logs do not show anything about the ports going down/up.

Anyone else observe this type of behavior and what did you do to resolve it?

Are you trapping on the IfAdminStatus oid?  If so, this has been reported to us and will be resolved in 8.0R8 (PRS-317196).

No, we are triggering off ifOperStatus oid and not ifAdminStatus oid.

Sorry the delay.  I have discussed this internally and both ifOperStatus and ifAdminStatus should be resolved in 8.0R8.
