SSL VPN Reporting

Hello,

I have a customer that wants to report on usage. Any recommendations on how we could track and report on this? At this point, I don't think session length is important. However, successful login, date, time, etc would be great.

Thank you.

John

Hey John - don't know if you saw this thread from last year on reporting:

Re: SSL VPN Reporting

You can write a script to parse the user access logs and pull out the information that you want. Either use syslog or FTP archive to another server where you would run the script. We actually use syslog to send the logs to a NetIQ system that does all the metrics/reporting.

Re: SSL VPN Reporting

Hello Guys,

Thank you all for your posts and suggestions. I was hoping to leverage our NSM, especially since our SA's are under NSM management. Anyone?

Re: SSL VPN Reporting

Hello Guys,

I figured our a way to accomplish this by creating a custom report in the NSM. Thanks for your assistance and suggestions.
