SSL VPN - network connect client only?

Is there a way to use Network Connect client only and not show the option on the webpage?

Re: SSL VPN - network connect client only?

You can 'hide' network connect by enabling client sesions under Roles->[user role]->UI Options->user toolbar. This will not prevent the user from being able to find and click on the NC start button, but it will keep it off of the bookmarks page.

If you are simply trying to give only NC access to users, you should deploy the Network Connect installer. Then, instead of opening IE/Firefox/etc, they will open the Juniper NC client, which will prompt for credentials/run hostchecker/etc just like the browser login method. Also, you technically savvy users probably already know that they can start the NC client from windows and skip the browser part altogether.

Re: SSL VPN - network connect client only?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Do you mean that you want to use the stand alone Network Connect client, and not the web site? Or that you want to auto launch NC, and then not show the start Network Connect button on the IVE bookmark page? If NC is enabled, the start button will be there. There is no way to remove the button, and also have NC enabled for the user.

Let me know if you're looking for something else.

Re: SSL VPN - network connect client only?

yes you can create two roles one with full tunnel access and one with the normal assign these roles to two diffrent realms. create two login page rules and assign the normal realm to one page and full tunnel to another. Now for full tunnel send users to myvpn.com/fulltunnel and myvpn.com will be all the other stuff.
