SSLVPN terminal session not supported on Ubuntu - What to do?

I've decided to use Ubuntu as my workspace but it seems I can't launch RDP from SSLVPN to work on Smiley Happy
In windows when I click launch it should ask me to install Juniper Terminal client but it does not ask me when I try it on Ubuntu. I expected a jar file that would be installed and work to RDP into windows.

Has anyone using linux and rdp from sslvpn directly?

I heard of JavaRDP14-1.1.jar but not sure if I should install that on my ubuntu and try sslvpn rdp again?

I don't want to go back to windows, please help. I've setup everything except this to start.

Re: SSLVPN terminal session not supported on Ubuntu - What to do?

The 2 best options to use Pulse SSL VPN solutions to RDP to a backend device from a Linux host:

1. Use the new Pulse Linux Client for L3 VPN and then use your favourite RDP client to connect to the backend device (this option is preferred if you have other access requirements)
2. Use a HTML5 browser and configure the 'HTML5 Access' feature on the PCS gateway device (this is useful if RDP to backend is the only use case)

Both options will need the PCS gateway device administrator to configure these options for your 'User Role' so please contact your IT team to provision this (provided your company policies allow for this type of Secure Access )
