Safe Upgrade Path Question - SA MAG 2600

I currently have a Mag 2600 running package v7.2r4 and would like to upgrade to the latest package v7.3r2, is it safe to go from v7.2r4 directly to v7.3r1 then v7.3r2?

I  am asking because I'm seeing a number of releases after the current package I am running (v7.2r4), which includes v7.2r5, v7.2r6 and v7.2r7. The other reason I am concerned is because v7.3r1/2 is only 278MB, how does it contain all the recent changes and only contain 278MB?

The releases are cumulative meaning that you get the new stuff in version Y that was in version X. I wouldn't go by straight file size to determine this.

The release notes for a revision you want to move to will tell you if an interim upgrade is necessary or not.

You can upgrade from 7.2Rx to 7.3Rx without issue, yes.
The binary file is compressed on the download site & is what you upload to the system. As you watch your console output during the upgrade you will see the package being extracted
