Sending credentials to a web page with 7.0R2

We're currently using an SA-2500 box running on version 6.3R3. My authentication server is my AD. Users are currently login and are then redirected to a custom web site which is our Enterprise Portal. This portal use the SA credentials to authenticate the user. This setup works flawlessly with 6.3R3. This morning, I've tried to update to 7.0R2. Once the update was in place, I've tried to login to my Enterprise Portal to see if everything was fine. I gave my username and my password on the login screen. I would authenticate to the SA box, but then, I was prompted with a page that ask :"the web page you are trying to access requires additional authentication". I gave my username and my password again and I was then bring me to my Enterprise Portal page. I've tried to find a way to bypass this behavior, without success. I've then done a rollback to 6.3R3 until I find something else. I'm currently downloading 6.5R7 to see if the problem is there on that version, but I would prefer to go to 7.0 if possible. Any idea what could cause this ? Any workaround ? Thank you.

I got the same problem with 6.5R7. Guess I'll open a case with Juniper.

Re: Sending credentials to a web page with 7.0R2

Hi,

I am encountering the same issue running IVE6.5R8 and looking to upgrade to 7.0 because we have windows 2008 domain controllers. Did you ever find the solution?

Thanks

What type of authentication is the site doing? If it is form POST, it should work seamlessly; HOWEVER, if you are using BasicAuth/NTLM/Kerberos, there is additional configuration needed to use these SSO types.

Users>Resource Policies>Web>SSO>General to enable the correct types

Users>Resource Policies>Web>SSO>BasicAuth/NTLM/Kerberos for the resources
