Simple urls for IVS without extra IP addresses

We are using Instant Virtual Systems to create separate customer portals.

The portals are accessible with https://portal.company.com/customerA for customer A and  https://portal.company.com/customerB for customer B.

portal.company.com is linked to one IP address.

Now we want every customer portal (A and B) to be accessible over a simple url, e.g https://portal.customerA.com . but then we need an IP for every IVS.

Is there a solution to link an IVS to a "simple url" without using extra IP addresses? e.g. link  https://portal.customerA.com to https://portal.company.com/customerA

This could be done with a "Redirect" on a apache server.

You could host your portal.customerA.com on a apache site, and then have apache redirect the user to the portal.company.com/customerA.

You also might be able to do this with a meta-refresh=0 tag ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta_refresh ) on a IVE custom sign in page. On the sign in pages config section you could enter the portal.customerA.com/ virtual host, and then select the associated custom sign in page. I haven't tried this but it is worth a shot.
