Single IP Address broadcast

OK Guys/Gals here is my dilemma....

We have a group that is affiliated with our hospital that will be using our Juniper appliance for remote connectivity. This group has their network setup to broadcast one IP address to the outside world. They are able to connect to our Juniper appliance, but when another person from their site connects...Goodbye to the other connection.

What I would like to know is why or how is the IP address of the client used and why does it allow only one connection from that IP. We would like to help this group of users find a way around this issue, but we are stumped thus far. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich Peace

Re: Single IP Address broadcast

They are using different IDs, right? Is there any interesting message in the user log when the 2nd user logs on?

Re: Single IP Address broadcast

The user actually gets a message stating stating "There is already a connection established sing that IP address"

Re: Single IP Address broadcast

We have a test DSL connection that NATS all internal hosts to 1 external IP. We regularly have multiple people login sign-in from that network at the same time. Its the job of the NAT table to differentiate traffic from individual internal hosts. Are the using unique id's to login ? Are you doing any kind of source IP authentication or filtering ?
