Hello,
We have noticed that when Pulse is installed onto a windows 8.1 client, the Sleep / Hibernation functionality of windows fails to work. When Pulse is removed from the client, then sleep / hibernation works normally again.
For info, we are using Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional x64 RTM (version 6.3.9600) - not sure if the problem is specific to this version only..
Multiple version of Pulse 4.0 versions tried, but with the same results.
Anyone else come across this, and is there a workaround?
I thought 8.1 was going to be supported in 4.0R7, according to KB28018.
Yes, you are correct. Pulse Desktop 4.0R7 does support Windows 8.1. Is this the version you have tested with?
Word up, folks. Any update / resolution on this issue?
Similar issues on my workstations. Pulse 5.0, Win7 x64.
When an active Pulse connection terminates unexpectedly, the Pulse login window pops up, steals focus, and refreshes every minute or so. This behavior prevents sleep, hibernation, screensaver, screen lock.
Happy to start another thread if it feels like I'm hijacking.
